DR. ROBERT C. LEE, DDS, PhD, MSD
Dr. Robert received his Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Robert also received his PhD degree in Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering from the Oral and Craniofacial Sciences Program at the University of California, San Francisco. During his training, he was awarded Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award by the National Institute of Health for four years in a row!
He completed his orthodontic training and received his Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and Masters of Science in Dentistry at the University of Washington. Treating some of the most complex orthodontic cases in the greater Seattle area, he was motivated by the way orthodontics could truly transform a person’s self-confidence. He continues to demonstrate an incredible dedication to the profession of dentistry and orthodontics. He served as a faculty clinician at the University of California, San Francisco for three years, and he published more than 35 scientific journal articles. Dr. Robert is an internationally renowned researcher and a speaker on dental diagnostic imaging.
Dr. Robert loves being a part of the Snohomish County Community. Dr. Robert has proudly served the residents of Snohomish County for the past three years. Dr. Robert has helped hundreds of patients achieve bright and beautiful smiles through a combination of exceptional patient care and commitment to efficient and effective treatment plans. His professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and the Washington State Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Robert and his wife, Jinny, have a cute one-year-old dachshund puppy, Hugo, together. They enjoy being outdoors, hiking, camping and water sports.

DR. DAN F. SHAW, DMD
After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Biology from Stanford University, Dr. Dan received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Oregon Dental School in Portland. He undertook an optional general practice residency at Denver General Hospital in Colorado, and then completed his orthodontic training and received his Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics at Oregon Health Sciences University two years later. Dr. Dan has proudly served the residents of Snohomish County in his private practice for more than 35 years.
Dr. Dan continues to integrate the latest advances in dentistry and orthodontics as a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Washington State Dental Association, the Washington State Association of Orthodontists, the Snohomish County Dental Society, and the Northwest Orthodontic Study Club. He has served as the President of the Snohomish County Dental Foundation, the charitable branch of the Dental Society. Dr. Dan has been recognized as a Top Orthodontic Specialist by Seattle Metropolitan Magazine since 2009!
Dr. Dan and his wife, Jana, have three children — Kristen, Scott and Clayton. They are a sports-loving family with special interests in tennis, fishing, snow and water sports, biking and boating. Dr. Dan has remained an active baseball fan since pitching for Stanford and the San Diego Padres organization.
